Project Nusantara &
The Capital Arms Race

Building the intelligence infrastructure for Asia’s capital arms race. Asia has entered a new phase of economic competition. Capital flows are being reshaped by geopolitics. Supply chains are being weaponised.

Trade policy, tariffs, and industrial strategy now move markets as much as interest rates. Yet across ASEAN and the Greater Bay Area, the most critical signals remain fragmented, delayed, or invisible.

Digital Media Nusantara exists to solve that gap.

We are building the intelligence layer that sits between raw economic activity and capital decision-making. This transforms opaque trade flows, policy shifts, and supply-chain dynamics into structured, decision-grade market intelligence for market participants.

WHAT WE DO

From invisible flows to
actionable market power.

Our work focuses on structural advantage: building systems that compound over time, deepen with usage, and become embedded in institutional workflows.

We design product-led intelligence systems that:

Map real economic activity across ASEAN–GBA corridors

Translate trade, supply-chain, and policy data into market signals

WHY IT MATTERS

Capital is no longer blind,
but most systems still are.

Traditional market data was built for a different era: liquid markets, transparent disclosures, and stable geopolitical assumptions.

ASEANGBA does not fit that model.

The next decade will reward institutions that can see:

How supply chains actually move, not how they are reported

Where policy is heading, not where it has been

How capital should reposition before consensus forms

We build for that future.

Our Journey

Digital Media Nusantara began as an idea at INSEAD, born from a simple observation: ASEAN’s capital markets were growing rapidly, but the data infrastructure hadn’t kept pace.

Founder Rohan Ramakrishnan saw a region where USD100 billion in market value moved invisibly each year, hidden in fragmented trade flows, opaque supply chains, and disconnected financial systems. Traditional tools couldn’t capture it. Existing platforms weren’t built for ASEAN’s complexity.
